#OHSSAIRoadSafety #Heart2Heart Campaign !

OHSSAI believes that road safety can be strengthened by individual commitment towards behaving safely on roads. Hence we wish to ‘Connect the Hearts‘ to save lives through this campaign. We welcome everyone to participate and be a part of the change agent.

Join us in #Heart2Heart #OHSSAIRoadSafety initiative
Roads have always symbolically been used for prosperity, success path, achieving goals, but has unfortunately now become a hot spot for unnatural deaths, loss of livelihood, blood and pain. Youngsters are the most impacted given they are the working class and mostly on the move and many of them being the sole bread winner in the family. Road accidents have become the topmost cause of unnatural death causing loss of life and a huge dent in the economy of the country. The choice is ours, whether we make roads safer for us to complete a journey, or we make it a source of misery in our lives. To support the cause, come join us in this #Heart2Heart #OHSSAIRoadSafety initiative to make a difference in someone’s life.

It’s okay to miss a call while driving
It’s okay to miss a call while driving, or being late to the destination, it’s also okay if someone overtakes you, it’s certainly okay to stop driving and rest if feeling unwell, distressed … all these situations are OKAY to deal with, What is NOT Okay is to ‘not reach home in one piece’ ! No amount of improvisation on the road can be enough to control road accidents unless we become skilful, responsible and patient drivers on our roads. Anticipating situations, being alert and most importantly patience is the key to remain safe.

Being alert and avoiding distraction is key to drive safely.
Everyday hundreds of road accidents occur on Indian roads. Statistics shows that majority of them are preventable and caused due to distracted driving. It is not about how good of a Driver we are; it is about the fraction of seconds we take our eyes off the road. It only takes One text, One song, One glance, One call, One distraction to cause a fatal accident. Being alert and avoiding distraction is key to drive safely.
